Are Raw Cookie Dough Balls Healthy?  

In my book, these Raw Cookie Dough Balls are considered to be “healthy.” They are free of refined sugar and carbs, unlike most traditional recipes. And more importantly, they’re  loaded with essential vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and antioxidants. So, yes, I’d call these healthy Raw Cookie Dough Balls!

Raw Cookie Dough Balls are a no-bake recipe. Meaning, you will not use the oven or any cooking appliance, making them a perfect last-minute treat. They;re also great for the hot Summer months when you don’t want to turn the oven on. These Raw Cookie Dough Balls are delicious as a balanced snack or dessert!

Recipe for Raw Cookie Dough Balls

Prep Time: 10 minutes 

Cook Time: 0  minutes 

Total Time: 10 minutes 

Servings: 6


  • 2 tbsp maple syrup 

  • ¼ cup nut butter 

  • ½ cup almond flour 

  • Handful dairy free chocolate chips 


  1. In a small bowl, combine maple syrup, nut butter, and almond flour until a thick dough forms. 

  2. Fold in a small handful of chocolate chips , until combined.

  3. Using a spoon scoop, out the dough into golf ball sized bites and roll between your palms.

  4. Do this with the remainder of the dough, until all balls are formed. 

  5. Store in the fridge or freezer.
