Workout Smoothie You Need Pre and Post Sweat!

If you are like me then you are all about that sweat life. And it is super important to nourish your body before and after to help fuel and replenish your workouts. So, I have the perfect pre and post workout smoothie to help get you through, and they are delicious.

First up is our mocha shake, it’s the perfect combo of complex carbs, protein and a dose of energy.  I love this because of the chocolate and coffee flavour that feels like one of those fancy mocha frappucino’s, but all natural sugar.

Mocha Pre Workout Smoothie

  1. 1 cup coffee

  2. half banana

  3. 1 scoop protein powder

  4. 1 heaping tbs cacao powder

  5. 4-5 dates

Next up is our post workout smoothie, perfect balance of protein for muscle recovery and some carbs. Plus, with some greens and a refreshing hint of mint.

Green Post Workout Smoothie

  1. 2 cups almond milk

  2. half a banana

  3. 1 scoop protein powder

  4. 2 tsp spirulina

  5. mint

  6. topped with chia and hemp seeds

Directions

  1. For each smoothie, add ingredients into blender (this is my fav and less than $35).

  2. Top with hemp seeds and/or cacao nibs.
