I love snacks, in fact, I always have a snack with me. I like carrying a bar in my purse so that in case the hunger strikes or I am somewhere where the options aren’t great; I have a snack to tide me over. Let me tell you, these pumpkin spice trail mix bars are the perfect snack. They are great on the go, they are great with a cup of coffee, they are just great.

These pumpkin spice trail mix bars are full of nuts and seeds and are held together with a little maple syrup and some flax seed. They are an excellent way to get in some healthy fats and nutrients while still getting some fall flavor from the pumpkin spice.


What You’ll Need 

Maple syrup. Adds a little sweetness and boosts your immune system.

Vanilla Extract. Gives these bars great flavor.

Ground Flax seed. This gives a dose of omega-3’s and omega-6’s, while also adding some fiber to help keep you full.

Himalayan Salt. Full of essential minerals and helps to balance pH and electrolytes.

Pumpkin Spice. This spice is full of antioxidants and spices like cinnamon which helps to regulate your blood sugar.

Hemp hearts. These little guys are a great healthy fat, help with digestive health and is great for joint pain.

Almonds. High in vitamin E and healthy fats.

Pecans. These lower LDL, which is the bad cholesterol, in your body.

Dairy Free Chocolate Chips. These taste super yummy, and I love that they are free of allergens.

Pumpkin Seeds. Loaded with zinc for immune support and great for heart and liver health.

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup maple syrup

  2. Splash vanilla extract

  3. 1/4 cup ground flax seed

  4. Pinch himalayan salt

  5. 1 tsp pumpkin spice

  6. 2 tbsp almond butter

  7. 1/4 cup hemp hearts

  8. 1/2 cup almonds

  9. 1/2 cup pecans

  10. 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

  11. 1/2 cup dairy free chocolate chips

Instructions

Combine all ingredients into a bowl.

Stir until combined.

Bake at 300F for 20 minutes.

Let cool one hour before cutting.
