Turns out, you can have your gummy bears and eat them too! It all depends on how you make them. These healthy gummy bears are full of vitamins and amino acids that will keep you healthy, plus it is super easy to change up the flavours.
The star of the show that makes these gummy bears gummy is gelatin.
Benefits Of Gelatin
Boosts Gut Health. Gelatin helps to repair the gut lining, which may be damaged in conditions such as leaky gut syndrome, by blocking the entry of bacteria and food into the bloodstream that triggers inflammation. And inflammation is killer, it leads to bloating and discomfort.
Protects Joints. By helping to delay the inflammatory response, gelatin is able to reduce symptoms of arthritic conditions. It is also great for improving athletic endurance.
Improves Mood. Gelatin is loaded with the amino acid glycine which acts as an inhibitory neurotransmitter that leads to mental clarity and increased resilience to stress.
Skin Health. Gelatin helps to protect skin from UV damage and increase cellular renewal, all of which helps with anti-aging. Especially because we lose more collagen as we get older, supplementing with this can help immensely.
