Charcoal Recipes That Will Start Your Off Day Right

Back again with another breakfast recipe, probably because it is my favourite meal of the day. As soon as I get up in the morning, I am hungry. I have been playing around with some breakfast recipes, trying to think of different ways to make it fun and interesting, and then it hit me CHARCOAL. These charcoal recipes to do disappoint.

If you don’t know all about charcoal I have a whole post on it here. Along with recipes for a charcoal lemonade and face mask, I guess you can say I am charcoal obsessed.

Lately, I have been throwing it into two of my favourite breakfasts: chia pudding and smoothie bowls. And I am sharing my favourite recipes below!

Charcoal Chia Pudding


Charcoal Chia Pudding

Servings: 1

Ingredients

  1. 2.5 tbsp chia seeds

  2. 1/2 cup almond milk

  3. 1 tsp ground flax seed

  4. 1 tsp activated charcoal

Instructions

Add all ingredients into blender or food processor.

Blend about 30 seconds.

Transfer into bowl and top with your favourite toppings.

Ingredients

  1. 1 tsp charcoal powder

  2. 1/2 frozen banana

  3. 1/4 cup frozen blueberries

  4. 1 scoop collagen peptides

  5. 1/4 cup almond milk

Instructions

Add all ingredients into blender or food processor.

Blend until smooth.

Top with your favourite smoothie bowl toppings.
