Banana Bread Waffles! Paleo & Refined Sugar Free

There is just something about banana bread, it’s warm and comforting and perfectly sweet. And waffles?! You can’t say no to waffles. These banana bread waffles are made without any refined sugar, are paleo and oh so delicious.

What makes this recipe so great is that you can blend everything together in a matter of seconds, pour it into the waffle maker and it will be done by the time you get your coffee ready! They also freeze really well too. Pop the frozen ones into the toaster and you will be good to go.

What You’ll Need

Banana.

Banana is great because it is loaded with potassium, making it great for circulation. It is also loaded with tryptophan which helps to decrease stress.

Almond Butter.

Full of healthy fats the almond butter helps to satisfy while adding decadence. They are also full of vitamin E, a great antioxidant for your skin.

Egg.

Eggs are loaded with lutein that keeps your heart and eyes healthy. It also helps to raise your good cholesterol and contain all the essential amino acids.

Baking Soda.

Cinnamon.

Cinnamon is not only great at regulating your blood sugar levels but is also an anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial.

Banana Bread Waffles

Ingredients

  1. 1 banana

  2. 1/4 cup almond butter

  3. 1 egg

  4. 1/2 tsp baking soda

  5. 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  6. 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

Blend all ingredients together.

Pour into greased waffle iron.

Cook according to your waffle maker instructions.

Top with pecans, sliced banana and maple syrup,
