Healthy Snickers Bars (Vegan)

These healthy snickers bars are everything you need and more. They are made with all natural ingredients, have the perfect sweetness, and unlike the conventional ones no refined sugar! I like to store mine in the freezer, it keeps them nice and firm.

What is even better about these healthy snickers bars are that they are easy to make with just a few ingredients, only 7 to be exact. And they taste like the real thing too, with a crunch from the peanuts and the decadent nougat bottom.

You can even cut these healthy snickers bars into pieces and make healthy snickers bites, just cut them into smaller cubes once it is frozen and enrobe each in the chocolate. Though you might not be able to resist having more than one bite.

  2. 2 tbsp peanut butter

  3. 1 tsp vanilla

  4. 2/3 cup almond flour

  5. 1/4 cup roasted peanuts

  6. 3 tbsp raw cacao

  7. 2 tbsp coconut oil melted

Make the caramel by combining dates, vanilla and peanut butter in a blender.

Blend until smooth.

Add 1/4 of the caramel to the almond flour and mix until combined.

Press the nougat down into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper.

Add the caramel on top and spread evenly.

Sprinkle peanuts on top and press into the caramel.

Freeze for 60 minutes or until hard.

Just before the time is up, combine coconut oil and cacao and stir until smooth.

Take out of the freezer and slice into bars.

Dip each into the chocolate using a fork, you might need to deep each twice to get a nice even layer.

Freeze until chocolate is set.

Store in freezer.
